Our engineering and management consulting team has worked with the defense community for over 20 years, bringing experience and expertise from industry, government, the military, and a variety of non-defense backgrounds.

Our focus on systems engineering principles has developed into our Business System Optimization approach to client needs. • Army – We are a long-standing partner with the Department of Army, serving as trusted advisors providing strategic and analytical solutions for major acquisition and non-acquisition programs. Herren Associates is involved in a wide range of engagements, from providing operational improvement strategies to advance the promotion, sustainment and enhancement of soldier health for the U.S. Army Medical Command to establishing systems, metrics, and new procedures to support transformation of the U.S. Army’s Installation Management Command.
• OSD and Defense Agencies - Herren Associates provides business process re-engineering and Lean Six Sigma consulting to help clients achieve customer service levels through analyses and recommendations to optimize supply chain and back office functions.
• Navy and Marine Corps - Herren provides support to the Department of Navy with systems engineering and technical advisory services. Our consultant industrial engineers support a comprehensive portfolio of commercial hardware and software solutions required to meet existing military requirements and support larger and more complex weapon, sensor, and combat systems.
